How to do Deliverance

Is there a process or formula? See Warfare Process. doc and Preparing for Deliverance.doc and Steps to Ministering Deliverance.doc

See the Weapons of our Warfare in the Spiritual Warfare Manual. doc

Traps to Avoid

Demons will try to get you going around in circles with non-essential things.

Stick to the basics of the 8 weapons, searching out legal rights, prayer, confessing sin and commanding them to leave.

The Rules of Engagement

Legal Rights – Open doors. See the Personal Experiences and Weaknesses checklist in the Preparing for Deliverance.doc

Inheritance – Freemasonry. Freemasons put curses on their family members which is an open door for Satan to have control in their lives. These curses must be confessed as the sins of the forefathers and renounced out loud in the name of Jesus and then any demons must be commanded to leave. See Freemasonry.doc

Flesh or Demons – Discerning the difference. We must pray for wisdom to discern the difference between a struggle of the flesh or a demonic problem. It is possible there is a combination of the two. The solution for the flesh is different to demons. You can cast out a demon but you cannot cast out the flesh. And you can crucify the flesh but you cannot crucify a demon. Crucify the flesh means die to self or our carnal fleshly desires that tempt us to sin. We all need to die daily to self. Look up Galatians 5:16-24 And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

With Authority comes Responsibility

If a law enforcement officer is given authority over evil by the King of the land and he does not resist the evil saying “Stop in the Name of the Law” but asks the King who gave him the authority to take care of it, then they are denying the King.

If God asks us to do something and we turn around and say no God I want you to do it, are we not denying him.

In the Spirtual world we are Law enforcement officers with delegated authority over Satan given to us by King Jesus and we must resist the Devil commanding him to “Stop in the Name of Jesus”

James 4:7  Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.  James 4:8  Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
